1. Who we are

This website (the Site) is operated by GovernAble Pty Ltd (GovernAble, we, us, our), an Australian company providing data governance and AI governance advisory services and lightweight governance automation tooling (PAIGE).

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (Terms). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a new version on the Site.

3. What these Terms cover (and don’t)

These Terms govern your use of the Site and publicly available materials (e.g., blog posts, downloads).
They do not govern our consulting engagements or your use of PAIGE; those are covered by separate written agreements (e.g., proposal/SoW, MSA, ordering document, SaaS terms).

4. Eligibility & location

The Site is intended for business and professional users. If you access the Site from outside Australia, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

5. Informational content only (no legal or risk advice)

Content on the Site is for general information and marketing purposes only. It is not legal, compliance, financial, or risk advice. You should obtain professional advice tailored to your circumstances.

6. Privacy & cookies

By using the Site you acknowledge these policies. Hosting and some service providers may process data in the United States (see our Privacy Policy for details).

7. Your use of the Site

You must not:

  • breach any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to interfere with or compromise the Site’s security or availability;
  • copy, scrape, crawl, frame, or mirror the Site except as permitted by law;
  • upload or transmit any malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes rights;
  • use any automated means to access the Site other than for indexing by a bona fide search engine.

We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms are breached.

8. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Site and its content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trade mark, and other laws. “GovernAble”, “PAIGE – Practical AI Governance Engine” and associated logos are our trade marks. Third-party marks (e.g., ServiceNow®, Jira®) remain the property of their owners.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to view the Site for your internal business purposes. You must not reproduce or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written consent.

9. Submissions & feedback

If you submit ideas, comments, or materials via forms or email (Feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use the Feedback for any purpose. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information via public forms.

10. Third-party links & tools

The Site may link to third-party websites or tools. We do not endorse or control these and are not responsible for their content, security, or availability. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

11. Availability & changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with your systems.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties about accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement. Information may change without notice.

13. Liability – Australia Consumer Law (ACL) notice

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Subject to those non-excludable rights, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we exclude all liability for any indirect, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of opportunity; and

our total aggregate liability arising in connection with the Site is limited to AUD $100.
Where a guarantee under the ACL applies and may be limited, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having the services resupplied.

14. Indemnity

You indemnify us and hold us harmless from and against any loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

15. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the Site but cannot guarantee it is free from viruses or vulnerabilities. You are responsible for implementing appropriate security (e.g., up-to-date antivirus, secure configuration).

16. Electronic communications

You consent to us contacting you electronically in connection with your enquiries, including via the email address or phone number you provide in forms.

17. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or to comply with law.

18. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.

19. General

  • Severability: If any part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in force.
  • No waiver: Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights or obligations on notice.
  • Entire agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.

Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures outside our reasonable control.
